What is UNM?
- UNM is an abbreviation for Ung Nordisk Music (Young Nordic Music), a music festival for nordic composers and musicians.
When and where is UNM taking place?
- UNM is held every year in august-september. The festival rotates through the nordic countries; in 2007 it is in Iceland, in 2008 it will be in Norway, 2009 in Sweden, 2010 in Finland, 2011 in Denmark and in 2012 in Iceland again.
Who is organizing UNM?
- In each nordic country there is a committee of young composers that organize the festival together. In 2007, the committee's are:
- Iceland: Hlynur Adils Vilmarsson, Áki Ásgeirsson, Tinna Þorsteinsdóttir
- Finland: Ville Raasakka, Jarkko Hartikainen
- Sweeden: Martin Jonsson Tibblin, Ylva Lund Bergner, Fabian Svensson
- Denmark: Regin Petersen, Christian Winther Christensen
- Norway: Ørjan Matre, Bente Leiknes Thorsen
